Take away the pressure of driving, getting lost and wondering where to go next, explore a range of endemic species of flora and wildlife on our three different tour options that operate around the Margaret River region. Our tours run to Western Australia’s most popular park, the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and Meelup Regional Park and will provide all of the requirements for a memorable experience.
Tour guides and business owners Ryan and Mick have developed a strong passion for protecting and preserving the natural environment. The tours are made to highlight the most significant landmarks and lookouts combined with interesting history accounts and personalised stories through the eyes of 3rd generation brothers.
Changing seasons bring unique encounters all year round, so expect to be thrilled! With an abundance of wildlife such as diving sea-birds, bottled-nosed dolphins surfing the waves, baby kangaroos in pouches and sunbaking reptiles. The landscape consists of ancient granite monoliths, pearly white sand beaches and crystal clear, turquoise blue waters. Sit back and escape the pressure of everyday life with a locally sourced afternoon tea and freshly roasted coffee. During all tours we outline major threats to the natural environment and help guests discover ways to protect and preserve the fragile ecosystem for the future. All tours are tailored for all ages.
South West Eco Discoveries run two half day (3.5hrs) tours, the ‘Coastal and Wildlife Eco Tour’ and the ‘Wine & Sights Discovery Tour’. Our third tour, ‘Meet The Woylies Tour,’ operates in the evening, changing slightly depending on sunset times. For more information about start and finish times check out our website.
