Crowdfund to grow awareness for Eco Travel

Just to let you know… I am very excited – Our Planet Travel will be launching a crowdfund campaign very soon!

The purpose of the campaign is to raise funds to enable Our Planet Travel to increase the awareness for responsible travel – which is my overall goal.

“More travellers consciously selecting responsible travel products will benefit the environment and the local communities they visit, which means it helps protect our planet for future generations,” – Melanie Grevis-James, founder and publisher of Our Planet Travel.

Why should you get involved?

Because not enough travellers are aware that they can make better travel choices for the environment and local communities… and together we can raise awareness, and encourage the purchase of more responsible travel, both here in Australia and overseas. And the more that travellers select and demand responsible travel products, the more it will encourage travel companies to change to more sustainable practices.

We are getting pretty good at thinking about our impact on the environment at home, by saving energy, reducing waste, recycling, avoiding plastic where we can – but we need to continue these good habits on our travels too – and to select travel products that are doing their bit to help conserve the environment.
